Distinguishing itself from previous titles, the third game in the series focuses more on an engrossing single player experience.
In addition to its frenzied first-person shooter action, it also scares the wits out of players as they tremble down dark corridors
filled with gruesome zombies and monsters ready to attack from the shadows. Players have to switch between their weapons
and their flash light to survive the horror that Hell has unleashed on Mars. DOOM 3 features realistic physics, 6-channel

Although the unnamed Marine of Doom 3 managed to stem the tide of demons through the Hellgate leading to Mars, the job
remains incomplete. Two years after the events of that game, you take on the role of yet another unnamed Marine, who's
tasked with returning an Artifact to Hell in an attempt to seal the border between the dimensions once and for all.

To Stop Doom From "Calling Home" And Killing Key
EDIT YOUR TCP/IP HOSTS FILE!
1. Start -> "Run"
2. Enter "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\" without quotes.
this will open the etc folder, and you will see the first file is "Hosts", no (extension).
It will usually be a read-only file, which we need to change temporarily.
right-click the "hosts" file, choose "Properties", the clear the "Read only" checkbox and save.
3. Double-click the "hosts" file, and a dialogue opens that asks which program you want to use to open the file. Choose "Notepad".
4. Go to the first line of the data... the one that says "127.0.0.1 .......... localhost".
5. In the same line as "127.0.0.1 ........ localhost", after that you will add."idnet.ua-corp.com 192.168.100.200" without quotes
6. Save changes, exit the document. right-click it, choose properties, and check "Read-only", and then "OK".
7. Launch Doom. You will see, a dialogue that says the game is trying to connect to validate CD-Key. It'll take a few seconds (It's actually connecting to nowhere), and then the key will be automatically validated and you can play.
