Rough Story line:
Project Origin tells the story of an escalating paranormal crisis
that threatens to destroy a major American city. At the center of
the calamity is the mysterious Alma, whose rage against those who
wronged her triggered a chain of events that have spiraled completely
out of control. Now that she has free reign, the consequences will
be unimaginable.

1) Extract the rar's with WinRar, 7-Zip or WinAce..
2) Create "FEAR2 DVD" folder, it MUST BE in C Drive:.
3) Create "FEAR2" folder, it also MUST BE in C Drive:.
_____Both folders MUST be named EXACTLY as shown
_____Please note there is NO space between FEAR and 2!!
_____Both folders MUST be located in C drive (or the root directory.
_____of the drive which has the Windows installation)
4) Place both DVD ISOs in the "FEAR2 DVD" folder..
5) Extract ALL FILES from BOTH DVD ISOs into the "FEAR2 DVD" folder:.
_____- use Winrar by right-clicking the ISO and select "Extract Here",
_____or
_____- use 7-Zip by right-clicking the ISO > 7-Zip > "Extract Here".
_______7-Zip and 7-Zip64 are included in the Disk 2 download.
_____This will take several minutes, but stay close by. You will need.
_____to click "No to All" to "Replace the existing files" if prompted.
_____The files Setup.exe and Autorun.inf exist on both disks, but are
_____irrelevant, as they will not be used, and so, can be replaced.
6) In the "FEAR2 DVD" folder, Find and Execute "!FEAR2_EXTRACTER_FIXED.bat".
_____and the game will install to the "C:\FEAR2" folder you created in Step 1.
_____DO NOT click Setup.exe at any time.
_____After about 20 minutes the installer will stop at #116 and display:.
_____"PRESS ANY KEY" - so, press a key..
7) Copy crack files from Crack folder to "C:\FEAR2".
_____Click "Yes to All" to "Replace the existing files".
_____The game can now be played, let none survive!
_____This step can be skipped if you plan on using the patch
8) Apply Patch v1.04 (OPTIONAL):.
_____Copy the Patch files to "C:\FEAR2"
_____Click "Yes to All" to "Replace the existing files".
9) Start game by executing "Loader.exe"..
_____The basic install will start with FEAR2.exe, but after patching
_____to v1.04, the only way to start the game is with Loader.exe.
_____If you installed according to the instructions, the desktop shortcut
_____provided in the Crack folder will work on Windows XP.
10) OPTIONAL:.
_____Locate and Execute the following files (OPTIONAL):
_____A) C:\FEAR2\Support\vcredist_x86.exe.
________The above installs Microsoft Visual C++ x86 2005.
________Just paste the above command in "Run" and press enter.
________For the 2008 version of MS Visual C++, follow the link above.
_____B) C:\FEAR2\Support\DirectX9\DXSETUP.EXE.
________It may be helpful to install the DirectX included on the DVD. The above will install DirectX 9.0c (Nov. 2008).
________Just paste the above command in "Run" and press enter.
_____this step is optional, try it if you get any errors, such as:.
_____"could not start because the application configuration is incorrect" (C++ error)
_____"X3DAudio1_5.dll was not found? (directx error)
Please:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL BY CLICKING "Setup.exe" (see step 6)
DO NOT CRACK THE "FEAR2 DVD" FOLDER !!!! (see steps 7)
DO NOT CRACK AFTER INSTALLING 1.04 PATCH, IT IS ALREADY CRACKED
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START THE GAME BY CLICKING "FEAR2.exe" (see step 9)
DO DELETE THE "FEAR2 DVD" FOLDER WHEN FINISHED INSTALLING THE GAME(but be sure to save the ISOs!)

5) Extract ALL FILES from BOTH DVD ISOs into the "FEAR2 DVD" folder:.
_____- use Winrar by right-clicking the ISO and select "Extract Here",
_____or
_____- use 7-Zip by right-clicking the ISO > 7-Zip > "Extract Here".
_______7-Zip and 7-Zip64 are included in the Disk 2 download.
_____This will take several minutes, but stay close by. You will need.
_____to click "No to All" to "Replace the existing files" if prompted.
_____The files Setup.exe and Autorun.inf exist on both disks, but are
_____irrelevant, as they will not be used, and so, can be replaced.
6) In the "FEAR2 DVD" folder, Find and Execute "!FEAR2_EXTRACTER_FIXED.bat".
_____and the game will install to the "C:\FEAR2" folder you created in Step 1.
_____DO NOT click Setup.exe at any time.
_____After about 20 minutes the installer will stop at #116 and display:.
_____"PRESS ANY KEY" - so, press a key..
7) Copy crack files from Crack folder to "C:\FEAR2".
_____Click "Yes to All" to "Replace the existing files".
_____The game can now be played, let none survive!
_____This step can be skipped if you plan on using the patch
8) Apply Patch v1.04 (OPTIONAL):.
_____Copy the Patch files to "C:\FEAR2"
_____Click "Yes to All" to "Replace the existing files".
9) Start game by executing "Loader.exe"..
_____The basic install will start with FEAR2.exe, but after patching
_____to v1.04, the only way to start the game is with Loader.exe.
_____If you installed according to the instructions, the desktop shortcut
_____provided in the Crack folder will work on Windows XP.
10) OPTIONAL:.
_____Locate and Execute the following files (OPTIONAL):
_____A) C:\FEAR2\Support\vcredist_x86.exe.
________The above installs Microsoft Visual C++ x86 2005.
________Just paste the above command in "Run" and press enter.
________For the 2008 version of MS Visual C++, follow the link above.
_____B) C:\FEAR2\Support\DirectX9\DXSETUP.EXE.
________It may be helpful to install the DirectX included on the DVD. The above will install DirectX 9.0c (Nov. 2008).
________Just paste the above command in "Run" and press enter.
_____this step is optional, try it if you get any errors, such as:.
_____"could not start because the application configuration is incorrect" (C++ error)
_____"X3DAudio1_5.dll was not found? (directx error)
Please:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL BY CLICKING "Setup.exe" (see step 6)
DO NOT CRACK THE "FEAR2 DVD" FOLDER !!!! (see steps 7)
DO NOT CRACK AFTER INSTALLING 1.04 PATCH, IT IS ALREADY CRACKED
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START THE GAME BY CLICKING "FEAR2.exe" (see step 9)
DO DELETE THE "FEAR2 DVD" FOLDER WHEN FINISHED INSTALLING THE GAME(but be sure to save the ISOs!)
